It seems some of you lot aren't happy until he's huffing and puffing running around aimlessly to make it look like he's giving it his all. How many other players in the team could have finished it the way he did!?!! Porter got a 6 from me mainly because he was a second half substitution, didn't get alot of the play and apart from scoring the goal really didn't deserve a 7. How many other players in the team could have finished it the way he did!?!! Apart from the goal he was anonymous, yeah he took it well but that's all he gave in the 15(?) minutes he was on. Logan - 6 - A pretty shakey performance. Ironic that his best kicks of the game came when hoofing the ball in frustration after they'd scored. Maybury - 5 - Poor. Why wasn't Kenton playing? Kisnorbo - 7 - Quiet game for him. We missed his usual commanding presence in the air. McCarthy - 4 - A pisspoor game from the captain. Ran around like a headless chicken and picked up another stupid booking that led to the 2nd goal. His lack of discipline is becoming a serious worry. Johansson - 6 - Never really got into the game and was a bit out of sorts. Sylla - 7 - His best game by far. Is showing some potential (at last) but needs to be more consistant and stop being such a lazy bastard. Hughes - 7 - As much as it pains me to say it, he had a good game for a change. Still far too lighweight though. Stearman - 6 - Huffed and puffed but not a lot else. Didn't look comfortable playing in central midfield. Welsh - 4 - Dreadful game. Bottled out of every tackle and was knocked off the ball far too easily. Needs to regain his form from last season and fast. Hume - 9 - MOTM again. Gave his all for 90 minutes and scored a goal. Can't ask for more. Make him captain NOW! Fryatt - 6 - Clearly unfit and was ineffectual for most of the game. Tricks don't win you games at this level, pace and fitness does. Should have been subbed for Elvis. Subs : Porter - 7 - Good performance and kept a cool head for the goal. Showed why he should have been on from the start.
