lookwhaticando Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 Diving twat. Sent off for an elbow to someone's face too. Lovely stuff. Now send him packing, we don't need sh/t like him in the top division.

lookwhaticando Posted 19 November 2006 Author Posted 19 November 2006 Zokora should be banned to for the dive he did a few weeks ago to win a penalty, against Pompey I think. The very one. A most disgraceful of dives that should have been punished to the full. I reckon teams whose players take a tumble so blatantly should be stripped of any points earned when the players took a tumble. Punishing the clubs would make their management teams work harder on making their players remain in the upright position.

Hughes the worst culprit.
Joe. Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 The FA are too scared of offending anyone for diving so they will do nothing as per usual. They're bloody useless
DB11 Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 Yeah, it is cheating but you wouldn't be complaining if it was a dive that won Leicester a penalty to take them to the top flight now would you? In a way, it is a tactic, fooling the ref to win and all that.

In a way, it is a tactic, fooling the ref to win and all that. I'd rather get into the top flight legitimately, without the aid of some clumsy bastard who can't stay upright - like Arjen 'Robben Hood' or that Zokora diving knob. Blatant diving drives me insane - when there's no contact, a player tumbles and manages to win something for it. Think Davids @ Euro 2004. I don't ever want to have to watch such blatant cheating - whether at Leicester or not. I can't stand cheating - the level of cheating at the minute is absolutely wrecking the game. Every time I see a player fall over under no pressure, I feel like throwing my shoe at the telly. It's disgusting really.
OBO Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 I don't like Spurs one bit, and for the sake of a really stupid bet I made I want to see them lose wherever possible, but there was definite contact from Tugay's trailing leg and I would say it was a definite penalty, even if Ghaly made a meal of it. Never a sending off for Tugay though, he didn't mean to clear him out and there was cover (from Ooijer I think?). Ghaly shouldn't have been sent off either I thought, bit of a harsh red card, ref had lost control a bit and wanted to even it up. Mido's handball looked like it should've been a penalty. Come to think of it it was a pretty exciting game actually! Tugay's goal was a beaut! I agree about Zokora, he's a horrible player, dirty diving bastard, and from what I can make out he's done eff all for Spurs.
Foxed Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 I agree diving/cheating/fooling the ref (not hard these days) is ruining the game. If we went up through a penalty like Speedie's at Wembley the first time I'd not feel like we'd really earned being promoted and it'd spoil the whole feel of the day for me. Yes I'd be happy we won, and yes the balance over the year would probably have evened itself out after some decisions had gone against us earlier in the season but still, cheating is cheating and I just don't like seeing it. Time for video evidence during/after the game to clear these sort of incidents up?

Time for video evidence during/after the game to clear these sort of incidents up? Retroactive action is the way forward (as funny as that sounds). Wankers like Zokora would think twice about falling over if it cost him a 3 game ban and the club 3 points in their fight against relegation. As I said, the way to do it is punish the teams by taking points away - management then has to do everything in their powers to keep their players vertical during a game or risk losing a lucrative spot in Europe - or even the premiership itself! That'd stop the bastards in their tracks.
lildave3 Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 I though it was a penalty, thoguh Tugay shouldn't have been sent off. Think Ghaly's red was bit harsh aswell though elbows are always difficult to decide on. Blackburn should have had a penalty when Mido handled it aswell.
Joe. Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 After seeing the incident I agree it was a penalty, he caught Ghaly with his trailing leg but Tugay should never been sent off.
lookwhaticando Posted 22 November 2006 Author Posted 22 November 2006 I bet he'll be MM's first loan signing :pinch: That'd wreck some people's opinions of "the saviour"
