Ade Akinbiyi is quite possibly Leicester City's most famous leg end.

Having been purchased for a massive five and a half million quid by the kind of Leg Ends, Peter Taylor, he represents one of the clubs most expensive purchases. He epitomizes everything that was wrong with the Peter Taylor era of Leicester City - plenty of cash being splashed, but nowhere near the quality one would expect from such outlay.

Here's your chance to slag Ade Akinbiyi something rotten for being one of the most useless strikers in the clubs history, apart from Lee Morris, but he doesn't really count, does he?

Since leaving City he's played for numerous other sides daft enough to pay money for him.

Sheffield United manager Warnock was obviously oblivious to his record when he signed him earlier this year.

Sheffield handed over one and three quarter million quid to Burnley, who he played for briefly beforehand.

I remember one against Man U in 2000. There was Ade bearing down on the goal in front of the Kop, hit the ball and missed (no change there then!) - nearly took my head off!

Not so bad you might think but I was actually sitting near the half-way line in the East Stand!!

was he really that bad. he scored 11 goals in a season in premiership which aint too bad but it could have been 20plus. im not saying he was the best striker but we've had worse in my opinion.

Agree. At the time he seemed dreadful but we've had far worse since.

I remember Liverpool at home as one of Ade's worst. We lost 4-1 and he missed a number of clear sitters.

By the way, that Ade miss against Blackburn in the "Bad" video... I was in a quiet pub in Northampton, the only one really taking any notice of the game. Imagine the surprise when that happened and suddenly;

"FOR F**K'S SAKE AKINBIYI JUST PUT IT IN THE F**KING NET FOR ONCE YOU F**KING RETARD!"

It got a few laughs.
