City players are worse than council workers - they're forever ill. All this health food and molly coddling is obviously doing them no good at all.

Is it me or do our team seem pretty unfit at the moment, the likes of Fryatt, Hughes, Logan... and dont get me started on Low and Johnson seem pretty out of shape to be honest, admitedly the likes of Hume and Hammond seem ok... but it makes me wonder what is going on with the basic fitness training at the club

Dodds will surely come on as a sub against Sheff Wednesday on saturday. If he doesnt impress then i think he will get sold (probably back to Northwich) because he's not really that young is he? I personally don't think he is good enough at this level, saying that i've never seen him play

Just to point out Kelly had adopted a training regime coupled with frequent physiotherapy to limit injuries. The idea is good but unless the bones suffer enough wear and tear through long training hours, they do not accumulate enough protein deposits to give a certain resistance. Basically protein makes bones like rubber, while calcium chelates gives the necessary strength. The reason why Weso has taken so long, as far I can tell is muscular and ligament stretch ie. being two years of limited activity did not help his cause. The most damage was in the recent games when he played against Villa, therefore he needed a period to limit the inflammatory reaction and train hard to get fibres to bulk and lengthen, allowing for rapid reactions without a lot of friction.

Sheehan has an infection in toe, that ought to be dealt with by antibiotics. So there is no issue there unless an abscess forms under the toe. But shame for the boy, Kelly has got an excuse not to play him.

Plus AJ has a lig operation...that needs a lot of time to heal slower than bone fractures in fact so he needs a month or two to recover. Enjoy

Irrelevant, for all the defensive approach to the game, Kelly ought to teach his players to tackle. That is one way to limit injuries
