SilverFox Posted 31 December 2004 Author Posted 31 December 2004 does that mean tommy wright moves up in the pecking order or we getting someone in on loan 50552 I've a feeling we might try to get a left sided player in on loan.
SilverFox Posted 31 December 2004 Author Posted 31 December 2004 BBC Is John Oster any good...might consider trying a sneaky loan approach, Levein could keep him disciplined!
SilverFox Posted 31 December 2004 Author Posted 31 December 2004 'Northampton Town have signed Kettering born striker Trevor Benjamin from Leicester City. The 25 year old Jamaican international is a powerful and speedy striker who joined the Foxes for £1.5 million in 2000 and stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall. Benjamin has started two games for City this season, with a further 8 substitute appearances, scoring twice. In all he has made 176 starts and 96 substitute appearances, scoring 67 times. Benjamin has seen service with Cambridge United, Crystal Palace, Norwich City, West Brom, Gillingham, Rushden & Diamonds and Brighton in the early part of 2004 (5 goals in 10 appearances). His last appearance for Leicester came against Rotherham on Boxing Day. He has signed at Sixfields until the end of the season and has been registered in time to be available for the News Years Day game with Mansfield Town. He has been allocated squad number 24.' OH THIS IS THE GREATEST DAY EVER!!!!! Until the end of the season. Get in! Please tell me that in 5 more mins Gemmill, Makin and Slowcroft are gone...I'd fall into a coma!

SilverFox Posted 31 December 2004 Author Posted 31 December 2004 i thought trev was on big wages , northampton wont be paying 100% of them 50565 True, they will probably pay a portion of his wages, probably 1/2 or a little under...this will cut in half what we are paying him and allow us to bring a new face into the squad...Hopefully. Paying half of big trevs wages is still better than paying the whole thing!

No chance that they could pay near half I would have thought. But it may free up a grand or two.
Craig Posted 31 December 2004 Posted 31 December 2004 I think you'll find you're all underestimating how well off Northampton actually are
Cobbo Posted 31 December 2004 Posted 31 December 2004 I think you'll find you're all underestimating how well off Northampton actually are 50572 Tell us then
Craig Posted 31 December 2004 Posted 31 December 2004 I think you'll find you're all underestimating how well off Northampton actually are 50572 Tell us then 50573 Well living in Kettering, in the paper it's all about Northampton and Diamonds, and apparently they've got some quite big earners there, so it wouldn't surprise me if they'd offered to pay half. David Cardoza is a quite rich man
foxesfan69 Posted 31 December 2004 Posted 31 December 2004 Signing Nathan Blake as cover for Brian Deane shows just how low Leeds have sunk this season.
