cisono Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 Long time to dream then Enjoy Night cisono I'm already up. What's going on?!?! My dream got too interesting and I woke up to check if it was real <_<
The People's Hero Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 I had a bizarre bizarre bizarre dream which centred around someone stealing my favourite dressing gown. I don't even wear a dressing gown. It's alright though - I'm up now and ready for a bacon sandwich.

My dream got too interesting and I woke up to check if it was real <_< Hmmm I detect a bit of sarcasm in this post If the dream was that good, you'd have ensured you stayed asleep to enjoy it further as you wanted to do t'other day Still, at least you have more time to clean up before work arrives
lookwhaticando Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 I have no bacon in the house. I have no cheese in the house. Hence, I have no idea what to do for breakfast. It's killing me.

I decided to have eggs and toast. Was delightful to be fair, despite the distinct lack of frills. I made up for it with a little brown sauce though.
the_bowman Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 If a person who plays a piano is a pianist, why isnt a person who drives a race car a racist? Why is it called 'after dark' when it is realy after light? You produce, on average, a pint of saliva a day you can lead a cow upstairs, but not down (dont know if that one has been tested tho)

Why is it called 'after dark' when it is realy after light? You produce, on average, a pint of saliva a day you can lead a cow upstairs, but not down (dont know if that one has been tested tho) This example is flawed. In your example piano-pianist. The piano is an object. Therefore if you're posing a question of why the same rule doesn't apply, it should be 'carist'. Race is a verb (as well as a noun). The car is the object in the same way as the piano is.

I bought a new shirt today. It's got several different colours on it. Oooooh!

Lord Nibblington Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 Like this? Quite Possibly.... but mostly no.
cisono Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 Like this? That is a bit bright and colourful... even by TPH's standards!!!
cisono Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 Oh I'm sure. I said I was willing to trade, not actually planning it. But if a good offer did come along, I'd consider it carefully. Hmm the intent of the statement seems to be that of soliciting offers... (independently of its literal meaning) Either that or we could go to one of those 'parties' where you throw your keys into the basket... Interesting parties you go to!!! It's OK. We allllllllll know who it is. No, not all. Just a couple of you
lcfc_jme Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 I love going to the pub in the afternoons, especially when City win :D

lcfc_jme Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 Were you wearing a City shirt? No I had a feeling we were on for another defeat seeing as we were away from home, and I didn't know whether I'd end up in town afterwards, so I declined to wear my City shirt I will not do this ever again, I am ashamed of myself
