davieG Posted 31 December 2004 Posted 31 December 2004 According to Annie2 on the Fox website, she met Peter the other night and Met him on Sunday. Lovely chap, really chatty. Told him he aught to be playing!!! According to him, he is fit!!I asked him why he wasn't playing and he said it was one of those things!
Scow Posted 31 December 2004 Posted 31 December 2004 I can't say it surprises me if it's true - We've barely heard anything about Canero since he was left out. Levein must obviously not rate him then.

He started him and Gillespie at Crewe and Coventry I think and I would've thought he would've given them two the same length of time as he's given Scowy and Connolly to perform to full potential.
Anish Posted 31 December 2004 Posted 31 December 2004 If Levein seriously thinks Makin is better than Canero, he is deluded. First there's his obssession with Gemmill, and now Makin and even Slowcroft - I am losing optimism. <_<

Steven Posted 31 December 2004 Posted 31 December 2004 I was under the impression that he was only back in training for a week or two after his injury. He might be fit, but probably not fit enough to play.

He hadn't even started full training on the Wednesday and then he was playing on the Monday.
Cat Burger Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 I has a brief chat with Canero on boxing day and he is a nice man, we didn't talk about Leicester though ..He, Stearman, Wright and Heath got locked out of a fire escape I had to let them in.
