Manwell Pablo Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 Had better be better that their last fight Can't believe that Peter Manfrado goon is actually going to fight Joe Calzaghe, that will be a mauling.
lildave3 Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 Had better be better that their last fight Can't believe that Peter Manfrado goon is actually going to fight Joe Calzaghe, that will be a mauling. Watching the build-up to it, looks like it's gonna be a tasty fight. Shame im turning over in 10 minutes to watch motd
lildave3 Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 calzaghe on tonight? Nope, just Audley Harrison v Danny Williams and then Amir Khan's first title bout.
Manwell Pablo Posted 9 December 2006 Author Posted 9 December 2006 calzaghe on tonight? Joe Calzaghe fights on March thrid, wont be worth watching he'll knock Manfrado out inside 3 rounds Audley actually looks good.
lildave3 Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 This is Harrison's fight, that cut under Williams' eye is massive. Hope he proves me wrong though.
Tevez Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 backed audley all the way. williams eye looks painful
lildave3 Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 Well I didn't expect that That's why going to watch boxing live is a waste of money. Over so quickly.
Manwell Pablo Posted 9 December 2006 Author Posted 9 December 2006 backed audley all the way. williams eye looks painful Well I thought he'd probabley win. I Didn't expect him to destroy Danny Willaims inside three rounds and make a mess of him doing it.
lcfc_jme Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 Much much better than their first fight. Harrison battered him, Williams was a mess, and that uppercut was beautiful
The People's Hero Posted 10 December 2006 Posted 10 December 2006 Williams blatantly wasn't ready for that fight. He was already on his way down and his legs had gone when he got caught again. No way back from there. Shame... Williams could have caused Harrison problems. Harrison is a decent boxer, but he's no fighter... doesn't like getting hit, hasn't got the 'heart' in my opinion. Correcto?
Joe. Posted 10 December 2006 Posted 10 December 2006 Amir Khan did very well. His hardest fight to date and the first time he's ever reached 7 rounds! A good test for him.
The People's Hero Posted 10 December 2006 Posted 10 December 2006 Didn't see Khan's fight... did he box well?
Joe. Posted 10 December 2006 Posted 10 December 2006 Didn't see Khan's fight... did he box well? Pretty well, had a good start easily winning the first 5 rounds. Drilzane got some good shots in at the end and managed to 'knock down' Kahn in the 6th or 7th which in my opinion wasn't a knockdown. All in all it was a good test for him.
The People's Hero Posted 10 December 2006 Posted 10 December 2006 I like Khan. Needs to step up his game a bit and get the good fights though, which to be fair, I think we will get.
lcfc_jme Posted 10 December 2006 Posted 10 December 2006 Khan wasn't really troubled in his fight - he looked comfortable for the most part and pretty much cruised through the fight. His hand speed is awesome though, as he demostrated towards the end of the 10th!! Needs to work a bit more on his defence though, his attacking left him open too often. Maybe he should get in touch with Rob Kelly.
