Filbert_Ross Posted 29 December 2006 Author Posted 29 December 2006 report back to us after your experiance at covscum airport ill keep a journal, and let you all know.
Solihullfox Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 I've flown from Coventry Fisher Price Airport a couple of times on golf trips to Spain. True the airport is very small, lacking in facilities etc........but, easy to check in, taken off on time, landed on time and got my bags very quickly. All in all that makes it fine for me.
Foxed Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 I live near the damn place and can't have my windows open over the blinking hot summer as the early flights wake me up It's a useless tiny place-may as well go from East Mids or Brum and give me some sleep! All the locals hate it - but then all the locals hate anything to do with Coventry
Matt Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Its good an convienent, because it's close to me, although theres only about 3 or 4 places you can fly to from there but its a shed! Wouldn't wanna have a long delay there!
Filbert_Ross Posted 8 January 2007 Author Posted 8 January 2007 report back to us after your experiance at covscum airport yeah all the reports are right about it being a shed, but it served its purpose, got through pass port control to look forward to a beer before a flew out only for a fire alarm to go off and we had to evacuate onto the run way area for about 20 minutes, false alarm I think. Then enjoyed Cans of Stella whilst playing on Virtua Striker with 2 little spanish kids watching over our shoulder giving us la liga style commentry. you get your bags quickly when you get back which is what we all want.
