Rincewind Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 Don't drink too much before the flight they may need you to turn the propeller.
Filbert_Ross Posted 29 December 2006 Author Posted 29 December 2006 not much there then. ill buy a paper before I get there then.
Leicester Lass Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 not much there then. ill buy a paper before I get there then. It's a joke, I flew from there a couple of weeks ago. Fits in nicely with the rest of Coventry to be honest.
john_lcfc Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 the duty free is basically a selection of papers/magazines/a drinks fridge/a few chocolates. like a mini newsagents.. <_<
JoeyB Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 east midlands is better way better (theres lots of fit gals )
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 best way to describe it would be a "cow shed with a fridge"
Hullfox Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 best way to describe it would be a "cow shed with a fridge" Rather importantly though that there fridge does stock cans of Stella.
Floating Fox Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 One word - Dump Like someone said it fits the "city"
Tomassi Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 two little buildings, the size of 2 corner shops! the people who work there are pleasant though
Filbert_Ross Posted 29 December 2006 Author Posted 29 December 2006 Rather importantly though that there fridge does stock cans of Stella. thank god for that
Guest Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 Duty free's no cheaper than the shops abroad, normally. I personally wouldn't be that bothered.
Filbert_Ross Posted 29 December 2006 Author Posted 29 December 2006 Duty free's no cheaper than the shops abroad, normally. I personally wouldn't be that bothered. I like to have a drink at the airport though, it confirms the start of my holiday.
Guest Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 I like to have a drink at the airport though, it confirms the start of my holiday. Take your own?
Filbert_Ross Posted 29 December 2006 Author Posted 29 December 2006 Take your own? I cant take liquids through to the other side can I???
Guest Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 I cant take liquids through to the other side can I??? You can now. The old vodka in a coke bottle trick is probably the easiest thing to do.
Leicester Lass Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 I cant take liquids through to the other side can I??? It has to be in a 100ml bottle and in a resealable see-through bag.
Guest Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 It has to be in a 100ml bottle and in a resealable see-through bag. A little coke bottle then.
JoeyB Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 you can only take liquid medication through to departures it has to be in a sealable bag that they provide youand also drinks in a baby bottle that you have to drink infront of the security person. lighters maybe taken through but only in sealable bags. any normal medication can be taken through tho hope that helps
Head Honcho Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 It has to be in a 100ml bottle and in a resealable see-through bag. Correct You are allowed to take up to 10 x 100ml bottles I'd arrive earlier then normal because the queues to get through security are still a nightmare, maybe Coventry won't be as bad.

With three flights a day I doubt that they'll be too pushed.
