Swedging Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 If everyone was deterred from using public transport simply because of the colour of fellow passengers' clothes I once got on a bus, and there was someone wearing a green tweed suit. I am made of stern stuff and so have continued to use public transport but I can understand that others might have been frightened enough to go out and by themselves a Corsa and a baseball cap.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Ummmmm. Pretty hard getting from Birmingham to Leicestershire without a car after midnight on a weekday. And not everyone is enough of a people person to relish public transport. I remember going with National Express to an airport once and leaving from Coventry. The whole bus was awash with people, mostly women, dressed in black. It was like travelling 100 miles to a bloody funeral and there was never a moments peace with first this one then that one getting up to put something in the luggage rack, sitting down, standing up.... It was like watching a bus load of clockwork avengers. Never again. It's deafening innit when people stand up or sit down. Sounds like you got on My Chemical Romance's tour bus by mistake tbh.
