He was desperate to leave Motherwell (was it?) when Adams was our gaffer, apparently Celtic are resigned to loose him to a Championship club (rumoured to be Sunderland, Norwich......)

I'm gonna say yes, think he's superior to anything we've got in the creative department and I reckon he's join us (perhaps!)

I wouldnt class him as a proven International but he does remind me of a young Neil Lennon (probably because they are both ginga`s!) but he is a good holiding player who can improve our team. Punt that Johnson out to Peterboro for another £100k and get Pearson in!

BTW he`ll probably go to Sunderland :dunno:

He's defo off to Sunderland from what i've heard from my Celtic internet buddy whos a season ticket holder...

probably a great signing, in respect that he hasnt any passing ability, but he will get in the box and score goals.... i would expect us to get 700k for him

He can pass the ball simply and acurately but isnt David Beckham! He is left footed so I cant see him playing wide right either but he is an aggresive bugger.

BTW, once Mandaric is in I reckon players will want to come to an abitious club like ours. When Fulham, Sunderland, Portsmouth and others came into some cash in the lower leagues they would instantly attract a better quality player. Lets hope it happens to us.
