Manwell Pablo Posted 19 January 2007 Posted 19 January 2007 yes so it's not ALL down to us being shit, we are still not very good, i haven't said we aren't not very good at ODI, i've said we ARE POOR, but a lot is also due to the Aussies being REALLY GOOD. Supported in some way by the fact we just beat New Zealand i wouldn't describe us as shit, because we can still compete with most. I suppose it depends what you view as shit I think most people understand its not ALL down to us being shit, only a complete idoit would say the Aussies aren't a good side. Still we've been rubbish since we touched down in Australia no escaping that.
Geo V Posted 19 January 2007 Posted 19 January 2007 I think most people understand its not ALL down to us being shit, only a complete idoit would say the Aussies aren't a good side. Still we've been rubbish since we touched down in Australia no escaping that. Our preparation was shite and any side withouts its best batsman and captain (Vaughan), most acurate bowler (Jones) and best opener (Tresco) would have struggled. Add a few injured players whop lacked match fitness, especially Flintoff and Anderson (who coincidently now look match fit ) and there lies the reasons why we failed! BTW, we have been shite at one day cricket for years
Simi Posted 19 January 2007 Posted 19 January 2007 The mentailty of alot of the players has not helped our cause. I just hope we can manage one win over the Aussies before we leave. Still nice to see Brett Lee getting stick for the advert he recoreded.
