cisono Posted 9 February 2007 Posted 9 February 2007 I had found a good pay-as-you-go mobile provider (EasyMobile), but all customers were later transferred to freshmobile. Freshmobile are not delivering on their promises. Main problems wiht FreshMobile: 1) There is no way to check how much credit you have left on the card except calling them on an 0870 number 2) They don't provide a call report, so you don't really know how much they are charging you 3) They don't support auto-topup, so when you run out of credit they just block the card :- ( 4) Customer support is rubbish Any help appreciated...
The People's Hero Posted 9 February 2007 Posted 9 February 2007 The only advice I can really offer here is get on a contract instead. Are you Vatable? Could expense it?
cisono Posted 9 February 2007 Author Posted 9 February 2007 The only advice I can really offer here is get on a contract instead. Are you Vatable? Could expense it? It's not for me (I have two mobile contracts), it's for my brother. He doesn't want to hear about contracts (he somehow always manages to incur large bills), even though that's the most cost efficient way... Not sure about what you ask, as he was going to suspend for a bit...
the_bowman Posted 9 February 2007 Posted 9 February 2007 Well I only ever send texts so t-mobile is great because I only pay 3p a text (but it is 40p a minute) Don't know really sorry
Libertine Posted 9 February 2007 Posted 9 February 2007 I'm on T-Mobile and mine are about 18 effing pence! Talk about a rip off.
billabob Posted 9 February 2007 Posted 9 February 2007 Im on orange and get free texts as i top up so £10 means 300 free message, £20=600 and £30=1000, depends on how much u text though and u also get 2mb of free internet, all carries over to the next month. texts are about 12p each and calls are 35p a min unless u set uop magic number which allows u 2 ring another ornge phone 4 15p an HOUR. suits me to the ground

Cobbo Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Orange. I top up by £15 a month or more and thusly get 3000 free texts at evenings and weekends to all networks. As well as 600 free evening minutes to other orange mobiles.
lcfc_jme Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Orange. I top up by £15 a month or more and thusly get 3000 free texts at evenings and weekends to all networks. As well as 600 free evening minutes to other orange mobiles. I like this. I think I may have to get an Orange sim. It's much better than the 300 free texts to anyone and 500 free texts to o2 phones at weekends I currently get on o2.
