A little thought

Firstly, if you had said to me at the beginning of the season we would be 14 points behind Colchester with 15 games to go, I'd have said we were bottom, and doomed.

On the other hand, if you had said to me at the same time we'd be 7 points ahead of Leeds with 15 games to go, I'd have said we were pushing for automatic promotion.

Funny old game football is. :dunno:

Not much to say other than "Hmmm".

Be interesting to see what that looks like in a few months, though. I can see us being a couple of places higher, Leeds just escaping relegation (unfortunately) and Colchester having a rough patch of form between now and the end of the season.

That is a strange concept. Colchester have proven alot of people wrong. I'm sure if someone would of given you that scenario at the begininng of the season you would of though it was strange but that's football :P

I would just love Leeds to go down, they've had a few good results lately but wouldn't it be superb, and imagine if Cov went down on the final game of the season, that'd be brilliant, they all thought they'd be in the prem next year lol

Yeah, that's exactly my point. I'm just saying how strange and brilliantly entertaining football is. :)

Pity the same couldn't be said about what we witness on Saturday afternoon's down Filbert Way eh?

There isnt a season that goes by that doesnt have surprises amongst all divisions. Who would have backed Reading to be doing so well or De**y heading for the Premier. I wouldnt have! Also a good guide is that teh bookies always have one of these "handicap" betting slips where teams get a head start on points against the pre-season favourites but you always get a donkey like Colchester spoil things lol! One thing on Colchester BTW is that they lost there first 5 games this season and 4 of them were in the league!
