Wils Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 No way are we safe, the two wins have been very important to get a gap but we all no what were like, lose a couple of games and the teams below us win and were right back in it.

MC Prussian Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 Wils you maybe the king BUT kings can be wrong! were safe trust me! You mean, now that we got the dough, it's going to be easier to smear the referees?
Toby or not Toby Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 if we had lost these last two games then we would only be two points off the relegation zone! sadly we are not safe yet
Tommeh Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 50 points is usually the target to stay up, so thats 10 more points needed which I think we should gain comfortably, however loose midweek then against v WBA then we can easily get sucked in again. I have no doubt that we will stay up, I just dont think we can be sure yet.
Kilworthfox Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 if we had lost these last two games then we would only be two points off the relegation zone! sadly we are not safe yet If my aunt had a c*c* sh'd be me uncle and LCFC won their last 2 games! LCFC 40 points! 8 points clear of Barnsley and how many teams would we have to fall behind to reach the best in the bottom 3 I will bet anyone £100 right now LCFC will not go down this season! Stinkenzo Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 We have seven home games left 3 against teams below us And the other 4 are derbies. I predict 10 points. 7 away games 3 against teams below us 3 against teams just above us 1 against Preston, where we seem to do well. I predict 8 points. Total 58 points. Safe? lcfc_jme Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 Home games: West Brom - lose Leeds - win QPR - win Derby - lose Norwich - draw Birmingham - lose Wolves - draw Points: 8 Away games: Burnley - lose Southend - win Palace - draw Stoke - draw Plymouth - draw Preston - draw Barnsley - win Points: 10 My thoughts are the same as those of Heikki - we'll pick up 18 points from our remaining games, leaving us on 58 (as I have shown above ), which should see us safe. Obviously I'm hoping we pick up more points than this though.
dandannieldanok Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 I think there are definitely three worse teams than us, we are certainly not there yet though. Burnley on Tuesday will be a mark of how close, or far away, that 50 point safety net is.
Stinkenzo Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 Lets go for the 42 remaining points I just hope we beat the bogey team Burnley on Tuesday so I can look at the table and think TOP HALF!?!?! Then again, we usually go on an awful run and win a game, then go onto win the next one, and the one after. We then see out a bore draw, draw a few more, lose a couple, and we're back at square one

lcfc_jme Posted 18 February 2007 Share Posted 18 February 2007 Check the home game points total again... I'm agreeing with joeb and now even add like him. Poor. 6 points it would be. Though I thought I changed one of the draws to a win (as I have now), which would explain why I got the total 8.
