Muz Posted 20 January 2005 Posted 20 January 2005 Leicester City keeper hoping for new deal 15:42 January, 20, 2005 Ian Walker is hoping that his comeback from injury will earn him a new contract The former England international is out of contract at the end of the season and only made his return from a long-term injury at Blackpool in this week's FA Cup tie. Walker, linked with a return to Tottenham recently said: "When your time is up and you are looking for a new contract, it goes through your mind what will happen if you're not fit. "That's been at the back of my mind ever since I was injured and I know I have a lot of hard work to do." Link I hope he stays , although if we were able to sigh Taylor permanately that would be the better option

Ash Posted 20 January 2005 Posted 20 January 2005 I'd prefer us to sign Taylor on a permanent basis !
Little Nicky Posted 20 January 2005 Posted 20 January 2005 although if we were able to sigh Taylor permanately that would be the better option 56687 Totally agree with that sentiment, Walker is the past in my eyes, I'm sorry!
filbertway Posted 20 January 2005 Posted 20 January 2005 If we were going to sign taylor, wouldn't he have played in the FA cup? I would love us to get taylor on a permo deal, but walker has still got another goo two years left in him.
Little Nicky Posted 20 January 2005 Posted 20 January 2005 WHEN LEICESTER WIN AND CONOLLY SCORE IN THE SAME MATCH I WILL HAVE POSTED A 1,000 POSTS 56694 We already did that last home game against QPR update it
Anish Posted 20 January 2005 Posted 20 January 2005 Walker has hardly said he loves it here and wants to prolong his stay in that quote
>>>Bevan<<< Posted 20 January 2005 Posted 20 January 2005 I cant see Arsenal letting taylor go on a permanent basis, they didnt want him cup tied and Lehman and Alumina are dreadful. He wouldnt be first choice but im sure they would like him to stay as backup
Muz Posted 20 January 2005 Author Posted 20 January 2005 Lehman is apparently on his way to Stuttgart So unless they get another keeper in the future of Taylor at our club looks bleak
Cobbo Posted 20 January 2005 Posted 20 January 2005 Lehman is apparently on his way to Stuttgart So unless they get another keeper in the future of Taylor at our club looks bleak 56716 Why? He is playing that bag of shit Alumunia ahead of him... I think Arsenal will want to spend a few quid on a keeper if they are to be European challengers, Taylor may be decent, but he aint that good
