marko Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS My final result on the accy was Tottenham Final whistle. That will do nicely.
Leicester Lass Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 What an amazing second half, rotten luck for West Ham but you always had a feeling that was going to happen
JoeyB Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 there goes the yolk in Magnusson egg West ham are sinking like the titanic.
Maybes Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 What a game. I can't actually believe that just happened. When your at the bottom nothing goes for you.
Simi Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 What an amazing second half, rotten luck for West Ham but you always had a feeling that was going to happen You always did get that feeling that something was going to happen at the end. West Ham did not deserve to lose that game. Tevez was sensational all game and West Ham put in a very commited performance. As people say, that's football for ya ! 10 points of safety now. I think that's curtains for West Ham.
lildave3 Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Harsh on the Hammers but what a game. Tevez has scored a great goal and was brilliant all game. Berbatov just oozes class, he looks so calm and composed whenever he does anything. I still think Tevez should have had that free kick late on which Konchesky scuffed.
DB11 Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Atm Blackburn are beating Bolton 2-0 both penalties which Mcarthey converted. And i hope Spurs trounce WHUFC Would you rather WHU lost the way they did or Spurs trounced them? The way they lost was far more humliating, in my opinion

And i hope Spurs trounce WHUFC Would you rather WHU lost the way they did or Spurs trounced them? The way they lost was far more humliating, in my opinion hmm thats a tough call. as long as it would of been an entertaining game like it was i wouldn't of cared
lildave3 Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Atm Blackburn are beating Bolton 2-0 both penalties which McCarthy converted. And i hope Spurs trounce WHUFC Were they dodgy penalties?
JoeyB Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 Were they dodgy penalties? i think they were both penalties(but thats my opinion). the ref was spot on
Simi Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Were they dodgy penalties? Both clear to me. Speed pretty much admitted that his was a spot kick and Faye pleased but he didn't take the ball.
lildave3 Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 i think they were both penalties(but that my opinion). the ref was spot on Fair enough, can't complain then. I think Boltons champions league hopes are all but over
dandannieldanok Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Fair enough, can't complain then. I think Boltons champions league hopes are all but over Thank goodness, the last thing the sport needs is Bolton in its showpiece event.
JoeyB Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 Thank goodness, the last thing the sport needs is Bolton in its showpiece event. why? What's wrong with Bolton? Big Sam has done a Phenomenal job there, getting in some of the players he has for that price. he also gets Bolton to play some nice football and has managed to stop the "Sulk" from sulking. i think it would be great if Bolton got into the Champions league, it would also make a change from the normal 4 getting places there!!

Bolton are a good side. But Premier League good not Champions League good. Scrappy play wouldn't get them very far. Fair enough they can beat Arsenal who are great ball players but it's all change in Europe.

They play well in patches, but if it doesn't go there way it's just hoofball and bully tactics. We want to see the likes of Arsenal, Man United e.t.c. who pass the ball and use pace and guile. The Champions League should be played in arenas such as Old Trafford, not a half empty Reebok stadium.
lildave3 Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Looked like good officiating in the Bolton match, both penalty decisions looked correct and Faye was offside.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 tevez will score today damn i should of had a bet
lookwhaticando Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Bolton are a good side. But Premier League good not Champions League good. Scrappy play wouldn't get them very far. And the football everyone orgasms over that Arsenal deploy hasn't helped them lift the crown yet, either, has it? Compare and contrast and all that.
Maybes Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Bolton fans dont deserve the champions league, they barely deserve the premiership. They cant even fill the reebok for their local derby I mean comon.....fairy weather fans
lookwhaticando Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Bolton fans dont deserve the champions league, they barely deserve the premiership. They cant even fill the reebok for their local derby I mean comon.....fairy weather fans Neither can Blackburn... Man City... Aston Villa... Boro... Charlton... West Ham... And probably all the teams currently in the Championship... I bet we'd struggle to fill 32,500 seats against Derby in the Premiership.
Simi Posted 5 March 2007 Posted 5 March 2007 Looked like good officiating in the Bolton match, both penalty decisions looked correct and Faye was offside. It was good officating. Always a sign of good refereeing when nobody complains about two penalty decsions.
Magictv Posted 5 March 2007 Posted 5 March 2007 On the subject of Bolton in the Champions League, am I the only one that would like to see them bludgeon their way past some team obsessed with fancy football and scoring the perfect goal?
