Phube Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Too right... he should have been booked twice last night (in the last 10 mins) to get his red, but the ref bottled it!! And don't get me started on Ronaldo!!!!!

And don't get me started on Ronaldo!!!!! Normally I agree but on this occasion Ronaldos done nothing wrong. Rooney should of been sent off though, pushing people about, you'd of though he'd lernt his lesson.

Technically by the letter of the law you're correct, but his smug attitude just annoys me... honestly, he should play for Arsenal!! <_< On another point, aren't his penalties illeagal? I'm sure you're not allowed to stop during you run up, he always does... and then gets away with it!!

Agreed, shame Morrison didn't break his leg .
Geo V Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Certain England players have always been protected down the years. Robson and Shearer were the worst for getting away with murder on the pitch and the same seems to happen when Rooney is involved although it doesnt wash with the foreign refs who have no bias. I reckon he`ll get sent off another 5 or 6 times in European competition or even Internationals. Another loose cannon who is easy for the opposition to wind-up.

Manwell Pablo Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Call me a cynic but would a red card have meant his non-inclusion in the forthcoming internationals?? No, since when have club suspensions counted in internationals.
Ultra Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 Agreed, shame Morrison didn't break his leg . You sad tw@. Ronaldo was a disgrace during the World Cup but it has to be said that he's been quality this season in the Premiership. The league would be poorer without him.
Geo V Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 Call me a cynic but would a red card have meant his non-inclusion in the forthcoming internationals?? No mate he would have just been banned from the Cricket World Cup!

It would wipe that smug grin off his face and probabley reasult in Man U winning nothing. Two birds one stone, all I would need then is for you trip over your own shoe laces and land head first, flies gaping, into a large steaming dog turd and I would be a very happy man indeed.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 Okay, I've watched it 12 times in a row now before saying this... Not a straight red IMO.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 Morrisons? He tried to end his career Asda. Nah, it wasn't as bad as people are making out. Just my opinion anyway, I'm aware most people thought it was a horror tackle. And they should ban Drogba for 7 months for kicking that Spurs fan...
