London_Fox Posted 16 May 2007 Share Posted 16 May 2007 Jewell has distanced himself from the Man City job and said he won't be taking it...if he's not going there then I think our chances of getting him (which lay somewhere between none and zero before) have declined further. As for the £750K penalty clause that is an absolute bargain! I've never understood why managers are worth so much less then players. Football is one of the few areas where management gets paid less then staff (although not always the case for top ones anymore).
