Chandler Posted 6 February 2005 Posted 6 February 2005 Was it really as many as that to see the glamour team of the Championship? 4K more than our recent running average? Is this the result of a last minute cup winner? Or was this the 'Hun' effect? Some of my fellow expats rousing themselves to see one of their over hyped rejects?Whatever the reason it was good to see. Expectations are beginning to rise. And you know what that'll mean if you fail to deliver Craig ye o'erboiled bit o' haggis ye!
Matt Posted 6 February 2005 Posted 6 February 2005 But this was the game STH's could "win" free tickets isn't it? I don't think the club gave enough tickets away to get the attendance up to 27k but it would have definetly contributed...

I think some of the increase was down to the feedback from those that went to the Reading game, which was extremely upbeat and optimistic to say the least.
Guest Daniel Posted 6 February 2005 Posted 6 February 2005 It was alot better with more people however it annoys me when people can go for free and that when i've forked out on a season ticket the past 11 years, wheres the loyality bonus for us loyal lot?

Wilson Posted 6 February 2005 Posted 6 February 2005 The club knows that certain people will buy a ST next season no matter what the club do so why should they bother trying to give us lot free stuff
Foxes_Trust Posted 6 February 2005 Posted 6 February 2005 Our understandin is that the 2005/6 season ticket is targeted at rewarding loyalty & is likely to offer discounts for renewal, further discount for 'early bird renewal' as they seem to be calling it & some additional vouchers
Wilson Posted 6 February 2005 Posted 6 February 2005 Sounds good, im going to renew in March because if we somehow get promoted (palace managed it) then I guess the season ticket prices would be going up at the end of the season.
