davieG Posted 28 May 2007 Share Posted 28 May 2007 From the OS The Leicester City ticket office has reported a marked increase in season ticket sales following the appointment of new boss Martin Allen. Allen was officially unveiled as the new manager on Friday and the Blue Army have shown their immediate support of the appointment with an increase in demand for season tickets for next season. A Club spokesman said "There has been a hugely positive response to Martin's appointment by City fans. "The ticket office has seen a noticeable increase in business since Friday and season tickets are selling well for the upcoming campaign. "With Mr Mandaric committing to major investment to support Martin, there is a real buzz around the place again." Meanwhile, the club are urging existing season ticket holders to renew their seats as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. The spokesman added: "With the June 16 deadline rapidly approaching for current season ticket holders to reserve their seats and, if applicable, take advantage of the 'Classic' prices, we are predicting a busy couple of weeks ahead." Season tickets remain on sale with prices for adults starting from just £275, £215 for seniors, £200 for students and the under 22s, £130 for the under 16s, £50 for the under 12s and FREE for the under 8s (North Stand only). Matt Posted 28 May 2007 Share Posted 28 May 2007 Oh right like we had almost sold out on certain games last season that the OS reported then when you got down the ground there was empty seats everywhere. The OS is full of bullshit.
