Leicester's 12th Man Posted 4 June 2007 Posted 4 June 2007 SULLIVAN'S CAREER ENDS Danny Sullivan’s career has come to an end after the defensive midfielder did serious damage to his knee whilst on loan at Southend United. Sullivan was injured during a game with Leicester City in which he attempted to win a tackle with Stephen Hughes. Sullivan returned to the Dragons Lair for treatment but after consultation from specialists, it was confirmed that he’d never play professional football again. In light of this, Sullivan has been offered a coaching role at the club. Who would have thought it???
