Guest Daniel Posted 8 February 2005 Posted 8 February 2005 Part of the beat racism campaign. England will play in red with the logo on the shirt and on the sleave. The first time england have had anything like this before.
Ricey Posted 8 February 2005 Posted 8 February 2005 I can't help but see this whole Nike 'Stand up, Speak up' thing as a massive advertisement for Nike and a scheme to give a Nike a friendly caring image. This campaign will do far more for Nikes image and finances then it will beating racism in football. Rasicts aren't going to hold back because of some multi-national corporation launching a campaign and making a team where a different coloured kit.

Mark Posted 8 February 2005 Posted 8 February 2005 I think that kit is horrible 64403[/snapback] Thanks, i didn't want to be the only one who said that I think it's horrible too, and it is so not Holland.
lcfcwill Posted 8 February 2005 Posted 8 February 2005 Im gutted, I really wanted to see all that orange for some youve been tangoed taunts (preferably at fat slags!)
shrood Posted 8 February 2005 Posted 8 February 2005 the anti racism campaign is well over due as a proper full-on campaign feayuring high profile stars was well neeeded but i really hate the whole nike thing, blatantly they are only in it for the money, bet they aint raising the disgraceful wages of their child phillipino employees as they make the anit-racism wristband and shirts
Wellman Posted 8 February 2005 Posted 8 February 2005 I don't like that either . Holland are known for playing in bright Orange, so why not stick to it? Nike aren't interested in Racsim, their in it to make money in my opinion
Guest Daniel Posted 8 February 2005 Posted 8 February 2005 I couldn't agree more with Ricey about the money and image thing for nike, however I think it's a very nice shirt.
