Rocky Dennis Posted 17 June 2007 Posted 17 June 2007 Having flicked through the sunday toilet papers i find it quite deflating that Wolves look to be signing Freddy Eastwood AND Billy Sharp! Its frustrating that we're not in the running for one of these players, both proven goalscorers and available at resonable money! I know some people debate that Milans only gonna put in a small amount for transfer fees, and his £4.5M investment includes running costs etc, but at the end of the day when rival clubs are signing 2 decent strikers and we sign Carl Cort and some 'unknowns' how on earth can we expext to compete?

They are a more ambitious club which is very saddening.
C-man Posted 18 June 2007 Posted 18 June 2007 They have £30 million to spend. Last time I checked we have £4.5 million this season. They finished in the play-offs. We finished 19th. Doesn't take a genius to work out who will spend more this season
morris1234 Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 Now they have Jarvis so what, ever heard of sergio hellings! no me neither!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 If people are that bothered about these players they've probably seen play about three times, why don't they go and support Wolves? They're all going there.
Leonisco Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 Wolves are going to be a force to be reckoned with next season.
Bluefoxtim Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 TBH, the £4.5 million beiong touted isn't that much. 1 player on 10k a week is over 500k a year.
Milky Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 Wolves are going to be a force to be reckoned with next season. They need to sort their defence out though, Breen and craddock .
mancunianfox Posted 21 June 2007 Posted 21 June 2007 Wolves are a more attractive club at the moment than Leicester. They improved last season, have money to spend and have good enough players to mount a realistic promotion challenge this season. We need a season like theirs so that we can think about bringing in some real quality. The reason why Wolves have made bigger signings than us so far is that we cannot attract any.
lookwhaticando Posted 21 June 2007 Posted 21 June 2007 Still time for it to go wrong for them, though.
