Mark Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 O'Grady 2, Dodds, Porter and Chambers getting the goals. "Chris O'Grady has come up with two goals and he has come on leaps and bounds since he returned to us from his loan spell with Notts County. His confidence took a bit of a knock there but he is back on the right track now." He had a terrible time at Notts County, maybe he could be something for us now. Afteralll he's scoring alot more goals than Wright, Blake, Benjamin were in the Reserves
Teeno Posted 13 February 2005 Posted 13 February 2005 From what I've heard he was shite at Notts, don't think he's anywhere near 1st team at the minute.
Ric Flair Posted 14 February 2005 Posted 14 February 2005 O'Grady will have to seriously knuckle down to ever make it in league football in my opinion. There were mixed views from Notts County fans on him, apparently he was too inconsistent. One minute he'd skin 3 players and look good, the next he'd just stand there looking clueless. He did score a few for their reserves whilst he was there and is scoring for ours, so it might just be confidence the lad lacks. Jury is still massively out on O'Grady more than on Wright, it's a shame really as we could do with a young, promising striker.
Alexikokopops Posted 14 February 2005 Posted 14 February 2005 I think I said it here, but my girlfriend who's a County season ticket holder, said he was poor, and he couldn't hold up the ball or anything, and she's used to the dynamo that is Gavin Gordon
