Scow Posted 30 July 2004 Posted 30 July 2004 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~546073,00.html Rip off Leicester City are charging £4 for a 40 page commemorative program for this weekend's tournament........ Whatever you, don't be gullable enough to buy it.....
Guest Posted 30 July 2004 Posted 30 July 2004 Cheeky beggars!! How mercenary can they get? It's disgusting. Good job I never buy programmes!
Guest Guest Posted 30 July 2004 Posted 30 July 2004 Oh come on, your being a bit harsh there, 4 quid aint bad for a mag covering a weekend tournament, and it`s up to each individual to decide weather to buy or not !

Ricey Posted 30 July 2004 Posted 30 July 2004 It is a rip off but if I was going i'd have to buy one, I keep every programme from every match i've been to.
Guest Daniel Posted 30 July 2004 Posted 30 July 2004 Same here ricey, ive got every program from my 10 seasons as season ticket holder.
Oli Posted 30 July 2004 Posted 30 July 2004 Same here. We've got programs from when my dad started going, so you have to buy them.
Ricey Posted 30 July 2004 Posted 30 July 2004 Same here ricey, ive got every program from my 10 seasons as season ticket holder. Cool I've got them from around the 92/93 season, I keep all the tickets aswell.

TrickyTrev Posted 30 July 2004 Posted 30 July 2004 The fact that you will buy them anyway doe snot mean that it is ethical of the club to fleace you out of money. <_< Another thing that should be highlighted to the Foxes Trust.
Claymore Posted 30 July 2004 Posted 30 July 2004 I think some of you forget that the club is still paying off debt to the bank and Inland revenue from before administration. The choice to buy one or not is purely individual and any extra money that the club receives can help M.A. with the squad. Yes the club are using every chance to make money, but remember that it is a business and that is what business's do. Rant over.

I know money is tight but surely the way to attract extra money is to make fans feel as though they want to spend not only on the basics (like a season ticket) but also on extras. At the moment every opportunity for extras is seen as a means to grab money. People will spend if they feel comfortable spending and at the moment City are not making their fans comfortable enough to spend.
