Your talking to a Dane you plank. Apparently Jimmy is completley useless.
brez Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 I like beer Well, you liking and me not liking shouldn't really stop us taking a drink together if I ever get as fast as to Leicester, should it :-)
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 How come all these Danes are so friendly? They're a bit tame these days compared to when they last came over here (the Vikings).

The People's Hero Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 Manners, Manners. And even more so when you speak to an elderly lady What the fu ck is your avatar? If its the mascot of some joke Danish club who Jimmy was actually good enough for, I might adopt them as my own in a partonising way.

My avatar was made by a friend of one of my sons on the basis of AaB's colors :-) So it is my mascot, if not the mascot of the club :-) Might even see if he will make me one with LCFC-colors :-)
The People's Hero Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 Remember it well do you? As far as I recall, some patchy attempts at resisting the invasion/raiding all ended in pathetic failure until Gavin Ward stepped up to the plate with a last minute penalty save to keep us in it. As a result, the Vikings went home. What happened after that is unclear, but some Jutes, Saxons and Gauls were involved, some drinking and mating occurred and that's how Ian Hume got the nickname of 'The Adder'.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 Remember it well do you? Yeah they were raping here, pillaging there. It was carnage. These days they just wander over to our internet messageboards and say our new goalkeeper isn't that bad. As I said, tame.

Friday, friendly fisherfolk - just after some coastal lodgings, maam. Saturday daytime - drinking ale. Come Saturday night it'll be all rape this, pillage that, set this ablaze, wearing of ties around heads etc etc.

Zingari Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 i used to love going on those DFDS booze cruises; harwich to esbjerg ; £15 overnight return and 8 hours in denmark ; great weekends
Pete_foxes Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 hmm.. Aab raved about Jimmy being a quality shot stopper. After seeing him against notts county though he couldn't catch a ball to save his life. (FFS couldn't think of a gambling pun to sneak in there )
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 And which version do you prefer?? ha ha I'd have to see a picture. ;)
The People's Hero Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 And which version do you prefer?? ha ha I prefer the version where you respect our statutory rights and give us a refund on Jimmy. We still have the receipt and everything.

Give the poor guy a chance. Since he got over there he has been robbed and in ice water and hurt an arm - all for being part of your - I'm sure - capable team.
