Setanta Sports

Has anyone got a sub to Setanta? I have Sky Sports and I'm wondering what Setanta is like? I miss the non-league stuff and a Jock prem match now and again is good for a laugh.

Any views?

Setanta represents good value, its 9.99 a month and you get a few games, and SPL of course... :|

Cheers. At that price I might go for it. Got a soft spot for Aldershot and I think they're on soon.

I wud be shocked if you paid 9.99 a month for aldershot!! Just a different option to sky sports though i guess..All you need is a tkt down the city anywa, dunno what your worrying about!

I have a ticket down the city, a season ticket. Not worrying, just enquiring.

I lived outside of Aldershot in the early 80s and went to see them when I couldn't get back to Filbo. One of the "hardest" towns in the UK what with all the army boys there. Aldershot vs Portsmouth was a sight for sore eyes.

Anyway, Setanta it is.

Decent channel and well worth the extra £9.99. Matches are at an awkward time i.e. 5.15 ko especially with away games, I've only seen Liverpool - villa so far and it was pretty decent. Their also doing a news channel like SSN I think, whether it'll be as good, don't know.

But it's nice to know that every game on thetele is available for you to watch

Its pointless in me getting it (but I have) via Virgib Media for an extra £4 I think it was a month because I`m driving down the motorway from Leicester to London when the bloomin games are on Live on a Saturday. In general though its a good channel when I have seen it and pay plenty of footy from the Prem top Non League and even the division below the conference, something called the Scottish Premier. The negative is that Steve McManaman is a pundit. :|
