Plus it’s unlikely we would land him on a 2 year deal - we are going to have to offer some players this summer a 3 year contract - or we just won’t sign anyone! He’s 29 not 32/33. It’s all well and good some of our fans saying he’s not worth more than a year or 2, but realistically players will just sign for other clubs. We’ve got rid of some dross and got some £ in, I don’t think it’s been a bad window at all so far.

I'm not really up to speed these days as kits are for children but what is the going rate for a football shirt? Is £70 unreasonable compared to the wider market. We're in League 1 now so I guess that should reflect the price a bit - but the LCFC marketing boffins know our fan base will lap them up so may aswell price them as high as they can get away with.

Been there - it's just full of golf boffins and very quiet - a quick taxi into Marbella could get out of hand quickly though!

I don't think £10m for an unproven 16yr old is bad business - yes would be great to hold onto him and develop him at LCFC but we're a league one club now FFS.
