eaststandtom Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 Martin Allen might have had an inferiority complex. This may have led to him rejecting Jimmy Floyd thus causing breakdown with Milan. Why should he take a 30 day trial? Fitness test sure but trial for a guy who scored goal throughout his career in the most competitive division in the world? Prob Doesn’t like players he sees as big time charlies. Allen from the ‘school of hard knocks in dagenham’ and eats 'pie and mash' so Jimmy to flash for him.

adam Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 Yes but JFH was so fit he didnt even get on the bench for Cardiff when he 1st signed!! So Allen was right on his assessment. If JFH still felt he could do a job why would he worry about a trial.
