Guest Posted 24 February 2005 Posted 24 February 2005 I've been known to shout out the odd comment, you do that at a game. Take Tuesday, "Jordan what the effing hell are you playing at?" just after their second slipped out of my angelic little lips, however spending the rest of the game booing him, ar chanting "Get him off" isn't going to help. It's not going to get the goal cancelled. It certainly isn't going to make him play better is it.
Alexikokopops Posted 24 February 2005 Posted 24 February 2005 They were fighting over him a few rows behind us! 70305 Did anyone see this. And was it a proper bloke fight, or a "I saw him first" gay-disco bitch fight!?? 70381 http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/details.asp?b...6269754|p|536|0
Ric Flair Posted 24 February 2005 Posted 24 February 2005 I rate Jordan Stewart I really do. It embarasses me abit because he gets slagged off all the while when I think in this division he is sound. Defensively he rarely gets beaten and mugged (I know he did on tuesday night, but that is one of only a few mistakes he's ever made) going forward I think he can be sublime at times. I don't know what his best position is though, he's not really a defender and i'm not sure he's an out an out winger. More of a wing-back for me, but he works better when he has someone to team up with on the left. I think his performances have dipped in the past few games due to Tiatto roaming more and leaving him exposed. Stewart always seems to go on good runs when he plays off Tiatto and over-laps him, I think he's more confident when he knows someone is there to cover him. His crossing has been poor at times, but I thought before this season Stewart was a quality crosser and that was his strongest attribute. You can teach players how to cross, but you can't teach them natural ability which Stewart shows glimpses of when his confidence is high. Personally we have alot worser footballers at this club and booing Stewart all the while will only destroy what talent he has, which in my opinion will be a loss to our team.
breadandcheese Posted 24 February 2005 Posted 24 February 2005 Jordan Stewart has performed well for us this season in my opinion. There have certainly been many worse performers in the blue shirt. Sadly, I think it's something to do with playing the unlucky position of left back/wingback. Anyone who plays that position for city always gets abuse. Whitlow, Guppy, Rogers, Stewart
