Daggers Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Whatever his value is, it's increasing by the match at the moment.
johnnycash Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 say if we went up? Would fulop n'gotty macualey kisnorbo and a quality left back coming in be good enough for the premiership? N'Gotty? Not even our best Right Back at present. Never good enough for the Premier! Kaebi and Chambers for the right side any day!!
Mickey O'Neil Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I'd love Fulop as Megsons first signing. This should be a priority. (our) Goalies always make me feel very nervous...Fulop doesn't.
JoeyB Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Lets go all out and sign him up! Der Duh Der Duh Martin Fuulop
David Guiza Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 they dont need him that much so i would say 750'000:D
dog_4 Posted 19 September 2007 Author Posted 19 September 2007 When a club spends 9 million on a keeper its hard to see him losing his place. Fingers crossed that gordon keeps on top form and fulop moves to us on a permanant basis.
Joe. Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Wouldn't surprise me to see Fulop join us permanently. It's not as if Sunderland really need him with a £9 million goalkeeper like Craig Gordon. I think we should pull out all the stops to get him to be honest, he'd be worth it. It's not easy to find a keeper you can trust.
Staf Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Who is their sub goalkeeper after Craig Gordon
Kilworthfox Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Ward, I think. I love Marton Fullop Just wanted to get that out there Sign Him Sign Him Now Today, Infact we should have signed him yesterday!
Geo V Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Thankfully Fulop seems to be a player who isn't happy in playing backup and rotting in the reserves like some players, and I can bring Ian Walker into that who was delighted to warm the bench at Bolton for the rest of his career when he left us. Fulop wants to be Hungary's regular no1 and has even stepped down a division to get games. Keano may not want to sell him but by spending nearly 8 figures on a GK who is young, he must realize Fulop is only a back-up and not actually fighting for a first team place. I know its almost fashionable for Prem clubs to loan out decent keepers these days like Man U did with Foster to Watford and Tim Howard to Everton, Liverpool also have loaned out Carson to Villa and Charlton over the last couple of seasons too but on this occasion, Sunderlands no1 is just 24 years old which is young for a goalkeeper. BTW it may all change of Sunderland get relegated and have to sell Gordon!
