Thracian Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 It's almost like last season when players disappeared for weeks with little or no explanation. What's the problem with Hayes? Has he broken a leg, cruciate damage or something? It's been ages since he was injured and I've never seen nor heard of him since. Did MM say anything at the meeting? Or does anyone else know his situation?

Thracian Posted 28 September 2007 Author Posted 28 September 2007 There we go, then.Thread closed. Doesn't quite tell me why he's out of action - or how long it might be before he returns. He looked half decent in his 20 minute appearance against Blackpool and in some of his pre-season.
ASH17LCFC Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 De Vries fell over and landed on him what a good source told me last night.
The People's Hero Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 He was sat near us at Charlton, on his own. Darren Kenton was with him for a bit, but kept disappearing. Stearman - the other musketeer, was playing.
Thracian Posted 28 September 2007 Author Posted 28 September 2007 De Vries fell over and landed on him what a good source told me last night. Does that mean his career's finished?
ASH17LCFC Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Does that mean his career's finished? No remember, De Vries is 2 stone lighter so Hayes will be back in the next 3-4 months.
He's not bald Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 No remember, De Vries is 2 stone lighter so Hayes will be back in the next 3-4 months. And it's not as though De Vries would fall from any great height either!

Hullfox Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Has he broken cruciate damage or something? Pray tell, what exactly is a broken cruciate damage? Sounds nasty.

Staf Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 He looked good when he came on against Blackpool

Geo V Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 To be honest the OS/Club have been terrible in keeping us up to date on certain things like injuries and transfer details like the Kaebi saga (I had no idea there was a delay that long for International clearance until practically after the OS confirmed it when he arrived weeks later). They need to get their ar$es into gear and let us know what the injury a player suffers and how long he may be out for and update us on the progress in-between like most clubs do.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 I'd agree at Villa there was a load of info for fans on home and away players injuries...including Elvis's ankle knock (as if he'd have been in contention).

I thought the OS was far better under MA he kept us better informed than Megson.
Zingari Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 I thought the OS was far better under MA he kept us better informed than Megson. except for why he was sacked
Bareknucklefoxer. Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 he's made reserve game for west brom tonight And was our best player when he came on !
Wycombe Fox Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 I thought he did well when he came on against Blackpool (but not in a girly way ). Maybe he might get on the bench tonight.
Lord Nibblington Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 I thought he did well when he came on against Blackpool (but not in a girly way ).Maybe he might get on the bench tonight. I'd be suprsied if he did. He's only just back from injury, and played last night. That, and he's far too attack minded. Which is bad! No attack!
