Messi Posted 12 October 2007 Posted 12 October 2007 De Vries For me!!! I think he will enjot his time at leeds an want to move their permanantly
weggy1976 Posted 12 October 2007 Posted 12 October 2007 Nielsen, but hopefully MAYBURY. Then the other wage bill killers Douglas and De Vries
Thracian Posted 12 October 2007 Posted 12 October 2007 By the January window Megson should know exactly who's likely to figure in his first team squad and the names of any prospective purchases. I'll be surprised if at least eight players aren't shed, possibly 10.
Scow Posted 12 October 2007 Posted 12 October 2007 It really does my head in about Kaebi - a few clips on youtube and he's the dogs bollocks. It doesn't mean he's good, y'know. I bet even I chould skin an Iranian full back, provided some cocaine was readily available ala Shaun Newton. Oh, back on subject, bye Neilson. You were a bit shit. Also, Porter and Hammond - I'm sure some willing League 1/2 clubs are interested in you. Are they not? Oh well, the words 'mutual' and 'consent' will pop along soon.
Mr Happy Posted 13 October 2007 Posted 13 October 2007 Jimmy Nielsen - Being as he stated he wanted to move, seems fairly obvious. Carl Cort - Useless w**ker, does absolutely f**k all for us so really does need to go. Hossein Kaebi - If we continue not to play him then I'd get rid of him, if only to further his career and not have him wasting away in our reserves. Sergio Hellings - never seen him play, may be play him, see what he does, if no good get rid. Elvis Hammond - I still like this guy, but now is the time to go sadly. Mark de Vries - See above. Louis Dodds - If hes happy at lincoln, let him stay. Hasnt made an appearance for us in over 2 years I believe(?). Alan Maybury - Was alright in the beginning but now is just freeloading, time to go. Darren Kenton - See above. Rab Douglas - See above. Also: Marco Ferreira - returning to Benfica Adde Djeziri - returning to where ever he came from!!
brez Posted 15 October 2007 Posted 15 October 2007 Neilsen has asked to move so guess it will be him It is Nielsen :-) and yes he will probably be the first one we will know has found a new club, as he is a realist - only thinghe did wrong: He should have continued to say no to Leicester - first impressions are always the best :-)

Indeed you've always given the impression that Nielsen thinks himself better than our club and that we should have thought ourselves privileged to have him. Well I remember training with Peter Shilton who, even at 15, was different class to Nielsen, and our first team goalkeeper at that time was Gordon Banks. So no, Nielsen was never going to be particularly special at Leicester and the fact that he looked decidedly iffy even in pre-season friendlies hardly enhanced his chances of making the first team. Altogether I never got the impression Nielsen ever particularly wanted to be here and I doubt he'll be missed. He'll just join the ranks of strange but true City signings.

I'm not bitter - I've no reason to be :-) And I cannot understand, how I could give you the impression, that Jimmy would think himself better than your club. Anything I've read that Jimmy has said about your club has been positive, so dont put words into his mind on basis of what I - a non-native speaker of English - have written. Whether he wanted to be there or not - well, if he didn't want to, he wouldn't have signed, I'm sure :-)
brez Posted 16 October 2007 Posted 16 October 2007 It's not our fault he's not good enough! Well, a player is only as good as his team mates :-)

Manwell Pablo Posted 16 October 2007 Posted 16 October 2007 Well, a player is only as good as his team mates :-) In Jimmys case I certainly hope not. Anyway. Anderlecht , Getafe, Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Tottenham. Should be an exciting few months for your club.

Yes, really looking forward to it. Two of my favourite clubs will be playing against one another - Anderlecht and AaB. Michael Laudrup had hoped, he wouldn't get a Danish club in his group, but probably he didn't pray hard enough :-) and the Anderlecht and the Getafe match are the ones that will be played on our home-ground, so probably a little money to the town and the club :-) Are you going to watch the Tottenham game? Hope it will be on BCC!!! - as I wont be in Denmark to watch it, should it be shown :-) but with FCK maybe playing at the same time, it probably wont - you know . . . clubs from the capital city are always the "favourites".
