Scholes is a great player which he proved in Euro 2004, we have players that can replace him but it's a big loss for England. It's a sad state of affairs for England when a great player like Scholes who is only 29 retires to concentrate on their club.

Also his tactics are too negative, if we are winning at half time for the second half he puts every player behind the ball which invites teams on to us and we end up losing. Bye bye Sven.

I want Gerrard to replace him in that attacking role.
