Not quite sure what you mean by "big headed". All fooballers, sportsmen, performers in general, or people who aspire to excellence have confidence and inner belief in themselves. Some express it outwardly while others take pressure off themselves by outwardly expressing modesty and humility. Doesn't mean they are not proud of themselves on the inside. Does it matter which type a person is? People have every right to take pride in their abilities or contributions in whatever way they like. Jealousy and envy are far more to be despised and our society is full of that.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I've only managed to get to one under 18s game so far this season but Chambers looked sharp that day. Bringing him on against Blackpool was probably the worst thing Levein could've done becuase it brought Chambers to the attention of everyone and now they're wondering why he hasn't been involved with the first team since. I still think he's a promising player who's making up for lost time due to injury. Chambers was a first year scholar last season just like Billy Kee is this season but he didn't get half as many opportunities to start because Mckay and Odhiambo were chosen ahead of him most of the time for various reasons. I think Chambers would've been into double figures this time last season if he'd had as many starts as Kee's had this season. Not taking anything away from Billy though because his goal scoring record so far this season is brilliant!!

davieG Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I think I like it better when people don't bother to follow Youth football, because an awful lot of people haven't got a fooking clue what they're on about.
