SINCE JUNE 2003 - 4 1/2 YEARS What made you come onto the Board? TO HELP THOSE RUNNING THE TRUST AT THE TIME WITH MY KNOWLEDGE OF FOOTBALL AND CONTACTS BOTH WITHIN LCFC & THE FOOTBALL WORLD AT LARGE, I WAS ALSO EXCITED BY THE IDEA OF THE FANS OWNING A PART OF THE CLUB FOR THE 1ST TIME, AND HOW WE COULD MAKE THE FANS VOICE HEARD LOUDER BY THOSE RUNNING THE CLUB What is your main role(s) on the Board? MY TITLE IS DEVELOPMENT. I ATTEND ALL THE REGIONAL MEETINGS OF SUPPORTERS DIRECT (SD) & THE FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS FEDERATION (FSF), & THE CLUB FANS CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE (FCC) ON BEHALF OF THE TRUST BOARD & REPORT BACK TO THEM AT OUR MEETINGS. I ALSO HAVE REGULAR DIALOGUE WITH PETER JONES (SUPPORTER LIASON OFFICER) AT LCFC ON FANS ISSUES & FOOTBALL ISSUES IN GENERAL & HOW THEY MAY IMPACT ON LCFC.... What do you most like about Foxes Trust? THE BOARD ARE GOOD HARDWORKING BUNCH, (APART FROM THE 2 RETIRED MEMBERS WE ALL HAVE FULL TIME JOBS) & WE ALL GET ON WELL - IT REALLY IS A "FRIENDS PROVIDENT SOCIETY". THE BOARD MEETINGS ARE MORE LIKE A NIGHT OUT - WITHOUT THE ALCOHOL!. (so whats happening with the monies gerenated from the FT)!!!! What do you least like about Foxes Trust? THE FLAK WE TAKE ON MESSAGE BOARDS FROM A FEW PEOPLE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE TRUST "ETHOS", AND WHO APPEAR TO BE TRYING TO PROMOTE THEIR OWN AGENDA'S WITHOUT LOOKING AFTER THE BEST INTERESTS OF ALL LEICESTER/FOOTBALL FANS. How long have you been a Leicester City Fan? TOO LONG!! NO SINCE I CAN REMEMBER AND I'M 40 NOW! What was your first game? NOT REALLY SURE - WOULD HAVE BEEN EARLY IN THE 72/73 SEASON. WHEN I WAS 5!, AND WE LOST! What was your favourite game of all time? LEAGUE CUP/COCA-COLA CUP FINAL REPLAY - HILLSBOROUGH APRIL 2007 - THE CLARIDGE WINNER IN EXTRA TIME.TO SEE CITY WIN A TROPHY FOR THE 1ST TIME WILL STAY WITH ME FOREVER, A TRUELY GREAT NIGHT!! So we won the cup last year did we DOH Any other comments for our membership? YES – PLEASE CONTINUE TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP & HELP US GET YOUR VOICE HEARD AT LCFC AND FOOTBALL IN GENERAL & RETURN THIS GREAT GAME TO WHOM IT REALLY BELONGS - THE FANS. Definitely a genuine release from the Foxes Trust then. The only thing you can trust about them is that a) Their self-importance and egotism somehow announces their arrival 5 minutes before they enter a room, giving fair warning to all other occupants to vacate. b) They will make fools of themselves at every opportunity.
