Was he really?

I go to a game wanting my team to do well and to be fair, every player will do better with support rather than booing.

He's been rushed back from injury to play and done his best and all our fans do is boo him. fooking bullshit.

It's a shame a few more can't take that on.

Yea bless, when a player is playing really crap and don't care. We shall cheer him and sing his name proud.

People around me booed Cort and people around me heard exactly what I thought about them.

Wankers.

fook off and support someone else.

If somebody came up to you in the street and slapped you in the face would you say "thanks very much, do you want to do that again?", or would you be pissed and try to do it back? Thats how I felt yesterday, as for supporting someone else, sorry but Leicester are my team, always will be. Most of us remember the good times, and want them back.

Cort today was shocking, maybe he isnt match fit, maybe he's injured, maybe hes got a hot date tonight and is saving himself, who knows. But at the end of the day I am paying his wages and I feel entitiled to call him what ever I called him yesterday. If the next time he plays he scores 10 and is the best player on the park then I will be one of the first to praise him.

If I go to work with the attitiude he had yesterday then at best I'd get a bollocking, at worst fired. Holloway was a bit out of order having a go at us yesterday, but I think he's just as frustrated as we are, given time the atmosphere will return!!!!!!(have we ever had one here? except a few minutes during the B.ham/Villa games?)

Sorry for the rant, nothing personal, I'm just so so dissapointed and frustrated.

It annoys me when people say "I bet you couldn't do any better" and all that bollocks.

Of we course we couldn't. But we don't get paid thousands of pounds a week.

Cort is lazy. It's not so much the fact he's not good enough that annoys me. If a player tried then I wouldn't fault him. But Cort doesn't and that's what gets me.

i might get laughed at for saying this...

Not all of it is about Cort being Lazy.. He is a target man. Target man are not supposed to be chasing down the wings or coming into midfield to get the ball...

Thats the Job of others. Target men are often instructed to always be central and always be the last man left up tere.

Fair enough, but it's like he stands there waiting for the ball to fall smack on his head, anything that's two yards wide of him he tends to make a lame effort to get there. The times we did get the ball wide he always seemed to be off the pace and to late arriving. I understand he may be struggling for fitness but it's not something that I've just noticed.

yes , perhaps they should be renamed "moving target" men to avoid any confusion

yeah, i can totally see what you are saying and despite my previous post i do to some extent agree with you..

If he had indeed ' pulled himself off the treatment table to play for his manager' then he is in a bit of a lose lose situation...

he seems like he has had so many injuries these last few years ( Maybe a mistake getting him in then) that maybe he is the sort that needs a good stretch of games to get the knees playing again.. troube is he doesnt / shouldnt have that luxury here at City.

I've actually seen him have a good game this year, so I know what he can produce, but the majority of the time he simply doesn't perform.

I didn't boo Cort yesterday, I wont either. Fact is, he will carry on playing for us when we haven't got the players, people booing him will do his confidence no good. But I do agree yesterday he was very, very poor. But we have a manager to tell him that.

Yeah I understand where you're coming from with that, but the fact is he's not even useful as a target man.

For example, the ball is played up to him and you'd expect him to be virtually any defender in the air. But he doesn't even make the effort to jump, and that's what gets me. There was one time where he did actually get a very good flick on, and it nearly got through to Hume. If he could do it more consistently the fans would get off his back.

1. that made absolutly no sense to me. lol

2. Yes you are entitled to call him want you want to call him but are you getting the best value for your money by doing that? If you pay his wages will shouting at him make play any better?

My Boss pays my wages and he knows shouting at me wont make me perform any better. He focuses on the good and encourages me on what i can improve on. You know what? I work my back side off for that guy because i respect him.

aha!

agree - wether he is a very good target man or not is a different issue entirely!

No  Will be lost without you. The amount of people singing in E3 will decrease from 4 to 3

but then only a small section will create a noise, rather than it catching on?

The singing is spread out in the ground, If we could get everyone together then the atmosphere would be a lot better and we would also be louder. This would intimidate teams, which could help our home form, which is nothing more than poor at this present moment.

to be fair though mate we've been waiting for it to catch on for years maybe the all sitting together idea would be worth a try

but i suppose that was the point of the singing section??? that didnt really work out

I did. Some games it was great, some games it wasn't so great i.e. Wolves.

Yes it was a great idea but a little inconsistent.

Because people waited for stuff to be done for them.

Far to many times in N Block people came to sample the atmosphere and not sing themselves.
