Watch - Kizzy Mum At 14

Kizzy had sex for the first time at the age of 13.

Nine months later, she experienced another first: giving birth. Since May this year, Kizzy's been mum to her little boy Kaylib. In September, Kizzy went back at school, with her parents determined that she make the most of her life despite Kizzy's self-confessed 'mistake'. Her mum Kerry has even offered to bring Kaylib to the school gates so Kizzy can feed him.

Being a mum so young has been tough for Kizzy's family. Her two brothers have been assaulted because their sister is a teen mum. The oldest was attacked with a bottle of vodka and the youngest had his nose broken. He's now deaf in one ear.

When it became known locally that Kizzy was pregnant, she was bullied at school, as well as kicked and punched by people on the street. She even received threatening text messages. This was partly because people believed she was cashing in on her notoriety (neither Kizzy, nor anyone else in this film about her, were paid for appearing it).

But Kizzy's not the only young mum in her area. Torbay has one of the highest rates of pregnancy in Britain and it's rising. Kizzy says that a number of other girls in her year became pregnant and she was asked to counsel a couple of them.

She also believes her school doesn't send out the right message. Paignton Community College refute this, but they do have a health clinic called Tic Tac which gives advice on all health matters, including pregnancy. They also offer contraceptives and the 'morning after pill' confidentially.

According to Kizzy: "When my friends saw my bump, they said they wished they could have a baby. Then three weeks later they're pregnant and don't know what to do."

We see Kizzy getting to grips with motherhood and the very real loss of her own childhood at such a young age. We'll also find out if the baby's father, 15-year-old Louie, will make an appearance. He left town and moved to Essex when he discovered he was going to be a father, and Kizzy says it's now or never for him to get to know his baby son. But with all that distance between them, will he ever agree to acknowledge his little boy?

It was hardly a case of immaculate conception, was it?

No wonder the daddy fled to Essex...

The only reason for screening this would be to deter any hormone-crazed teen from following in Kizzy's footsteps.

Is ultra the bloke responsible for getting the other 11 underage girls of Torbay up the duff ..??

Errr... you're talking about a guy who's only got to strut down Market Street to have stunners dripping off him.

As I haven't set foot in that area in over four years, I very much doubt it..

I'm a bit worried that the primary reason that you didn't choose to have sex with a minor (and a pikey by the sound of it) was that your geographical location made it impossible.

Where is Market Street?

It's in Leicester, I think it's where the Parody bar is.

It's Ultra's territory though. Don't cramp his style or he'll get Elvis (ankle) to do a job on you.

It must be the lure of the stunners.

If that’s Ultra’s and Elvis’s patch I’m staying well clear. Don’t want mess with those guys!

Market Street isn't a place. Market Street is a state of mind. Primarily a made-up one in which made-up events occur.

It's a bit like Easy Street, which features the only kind of women that Ultra can interest, apart from those who spend their time on the corner of Crackwhore Avenure and STD Road.
