boneman Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 Recently, after our bad run of formive heard so much bollocks about how we should get rid of Ollie and he cant manage ( on this forum and at city games ) well i cant see why hes doing his best for a bunch of average/bad/Carl Cort players answer this... who will we get that has good championship experience to replace him??? its ridiculous were supposed to get behind him not bitch about him!! cmon lads( maybe a few ladies ) weve got to sort it out Agreed!!! Its totally ridiculous to be calling for someones arse after a couple of stiff results. Holloway is the key as much as I though Martin Allen was the right man for the job, I have excepted that there is no point dwelling on the past. Ollie has the experience in the championship and the balls to make some hard decisions. There seems to be alot of panic at the moment (and looking at the league table I can see why) and that is causing unwarranted pressure. There are plenty of games to go for us to save face for this season so lets just let him do his job. Don't forget that we have been shafted lately particularly in the refereeing department, southampton penalty, ipswich penalty/send off! We can't get those points back but it is clear its taking a toll on the players and officials. Positive reinforcement is the only answer, there is too much negativity flying about the place at the moment. C'MON LEICESTER C'MON LEICESTER
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 What this team needs most is stability, and i don't think sacking another mananger is the answer GIVE THE BLOKE A CHANCE FFS What is all so pissing me off is that a couple of bad results is Obviously the managers fault, bull shite Ollies not playing for them we have average players and more often than not average players bring average results
WetFlannel Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 It hasnt exactly helped Ollie with the woeful refereeing decisions hes come up against, it seems our luck is out
CupidStunt Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 I wonder if Ollie actually comes to this site and reads any of this fooking nonsense,it wouldnt suprise me if he did jeese guys, give the man a break everybody expects miracles,Just remember for the last few years we have been a average championship side, with average players, playing average football For all those that say and want "Ollie out",just explain to us what you think any other manager would have done differently Maybe that would enlighten me and the majority of other members of this site,in showing us what we are missing? I am totally 100% behind the manager for now,as i cant see what he has done that is so wrong
Zingari Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 You've obviously been talking to people who are minus a pair of testicles. women
Zingari Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 and brain cells. Same thing innit? sorry girls ; no testicles no brains
thybluefox Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 I can't believe people are even talking about this. He's having to work with old managers left overs, I agree with what Ollie says, judge him next year when he's bought his own players and built his own team. Being brutally honest, I don't think any manager could make a consistently successful team out of our squad.

I admit there were more proven people I would have had, but Ollie has to be given a chance. Please let's leave our discussion to the Summer ...we'll know the shape of his team by then
rob-blue-fox Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 CLOSE THIS THREAD!!!!!,even if we had wenger ferguson and mourinho they wouldnt be able to do anything with the crock of shite players weve got.

The Stig Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 Ollie out. Here is my list of potential managers. Micky Adams - The best assistant manager in the league Craig Levien - You won't have heard of him but he's done great in Scotland and is the new Martin O Neil Rob Kelly - Great coach ready for the step up Martin Allen - done well at League 1 level and is brilliant in the transfer market Gary Megson - great work ethic Chris Kamara - always talks sense, one of the most respected men in football
gosfox Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 I wouldn't think Ollie would be the slightest bothered about the odd "supporter" muttering "Ollie Out" comments....... it happens all the time at every club. Trouble is some think that success is a divine right for there particular club they seem to forget that every other club in the league is looking for the same heights....... I can remember when Martin was here and we were constantly finishing mid-table in the Prem..... there were odd people then calling phone-ins etc saying that maybe we should get rid of MON as we needed a manager to take us to the next level!!!!! Well they have certainly got that wish now
Plymouth Pete Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 Don't know where else to put this. I am a life long Plymouth fan who drops in here from time to time to see how you and Ollie are getting on. I bear Leicester City and Ollie no ill will and unlike some have not come on here to slag anybody off. Apart from when you are playing Argyle best of luck for the future. Looking forward to our visit to the Walkers in the new year. Argyle have NEVER won at Leicester in all the time I have been following them.

We are so crap this year that I fear this streak will come to an end in two months time. Ollie IN, most players OUT!
filbertstreetboy Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 ollie says judge him next yr but we could be playing the likes of crewe and mk dons then.WE NEED POINTS NOW
Asha Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 ollie says judge him next yr but we could be playing the likes of crewe and mk dons then.WE NEED POINTS NOW We do need points, but it's wrong to judge on a team that fully isn't his. January is coming at the right time, he's got 3/4 months to get the points on the board.
Ollie_09 Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 obviously we have to give ollie a chance hes just come into the team and has to work with the players thatwe have got after january we'll definately finish in the top half guranteed -1-

When he was with us Ollie's team tended to draw at home and win away!
WetFlannel Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 Your Home form will need to improve. When he was with us Ollie's team tended to draw at home and win away! as long as that last sentence had the word 'win' in it i couldnt care less...
