cisono Posted 23 December 2007 Author Posted 23 December 2007 It's nicely decorated, but £400/month is a lot for 1 room I have nothing to do with the price and the property is not mine (alas!), but will relay your message if you like. I have seen the property recently and I'd rather live there than at my place! Not only was it very recently redecorated, but the furniture is brand new and the price includes all bills (water/heating/council tax) and wireless broadband, as well as use of the two downstairs rooms plus kitchen, garden and shed. The house has a washing machine and standard appliances, so no need to go to the laundrette (which is also conveniently just a minute's walk away). Plus the property is walking distance from the centre (unless you are really unfit) and a handy bus stop is just one minute away otherwise. Heating alone has to be worth £45-50 a month (per person), I'd have thought. If you factor everything in, the price is about the same as what I am paying living in my (smaller and older) house (in the same area but in a noisier location).

He works for the same security company on the same site as me doing altyernate shifts I think he'll be honest and reliable. Goes with the job. He's also doing a university course or two. Economics and English I think. We work at the top of Queens Road so it would be close enough for him when having to go homer at 3 in the morning. The place he's in at the moment is not very good so i understand. Thats as much as I know about his situation.If its still available I could print off the details (if I can get my sodding printer to work) and see if he is interested. managed to print it off but it is in magenta (the red one) ink. I put four new colours in as well.
