Katy Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 Its looking increasingly likely that these jammy gets are going to avoid relegation this season after picking up a 2-0 win last night and 'beating ' us on Saturday, confidence must be high, unlike ours. I can seriously see us get dragged into the relegation dogfight if we dont start scoring some goals - I have every faith in Craig Levein but we need some results and fast!
Random Burglar Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 I know we have the opportunity of an FA cup semi-final but.... Everything seems to be cup cup cup, which of course i can understand but maybe we are starting to leave worrying bout the league untill we get in trouble. 4 points above relegation after we were tipping ourselves to have a good season, build the squad and get promoted next season after losing the players we did. What would we rather have? A good run in the cup and be a league 1 side next season or do ok against Blackburn and stay in the Championship and go for promotion next season? Im baffled to why we are not doing well in the league!! Am i right about the cup run though?
Guest Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 Im baffled to why we are not doing well in the league!! 76523[/snapback] I'm not, we need a bloody goalscorer!
Random Burglar Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 Thats true!! We have a great keeper, a strong defence (most of the time) and a decent midfield. Cant see where the goals are going to come from as you say!!
Ash Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 I knew there win versus us would give them confidence to go and avoid relegation
connolly19 Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 I agree with you Ash! That will be their turning point. If they can beat Leicester they can beat anyone

Anish Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 If they avoid relegation, they will have deserved it. Nothing jammy about it.

No-one in this league has been particularly consistent.....well, maybe Rotherham! Hopefully, F****t's run will come to an end soon.
Bilko Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 Megson's got them playing as a team but the real difference is Kris Commons...what a player! How did we miss him! As for City, tell Connolly he's a centre forward not an attacking midfielder...get on the end of things Connors!
Matt Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 The league does not lie, We are where we are because we deserve to be there! I've tried to explain this to people all season, only now are these people realising it
Scow Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 You're right Bilko, I think Commons has made a significant difference to Forest. We all know Megson prides his teams on a solid defensive back line, but Commons has added a touch of quality to a very ordinary Forest side.
