Fat Ron Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 Was just wondering what ever happened to the Man who actually save our club from Relegation in 1990-91? All these other clubs seem to have statues or memorials for Managers who achieved the unachievable yet many don't seem to recall Lee as the man who changed the face of this club. If we had have been relegated back then who knows where we would be now?? I reckon he must be in his 70's by now, 73-74 maybe (thats if he is still alive?!?) Any Ideas?

Head Honcho Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 i think he may be probably retired in liverpool now , he was interviewed quite recently on the liverpool daily post , so he's still about http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/everto...64375-20319396/ I think the reason for the interview was due to his tenure as Everton manager and nothing to do with where he lives! Thats not to say he doesn't live in Liverpool

I think it would be nice if our Club gave this guy a bit more recognition for the job he did back in the day.

I'm sure he was paid well at the time Gillies, O'Farrell and Bloomfield deserve much more recognition imo.
