Mark Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1236796,00.html A last minute goal from Andy King sealed a 1-0 victory for City's under 18 side at Cardiff on Saturday. The young Foxes went into the game looking to bounce back from their 3-1 Fifth Round FA Youth Cup defeat at the hands of Chelsea last week. And First team squad member King, making a rare appearance for the youth side, smashed the ball home in the dying moments to snatch the points in difficult conditions. Academy manager Jon Rudkin said: "Andy was away in midweek with the Welsh under 21 side and we got the opportunity to give him a run out to give him some extra match minutes this afternoon. "He did very well in difficult conditions. He certainly put in a good work out for us. "It was a very scrappy game. We just kept going and managed to grind it out in the end." City: Pentney, O'Neill, Garner, Turner, Cobb, Tuttle, Cox, Burns, Beswick, C King, A King. Very strange line up.
Bryn Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 Burns is a striker... I think CKing can play there too.
lildave3 Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 Good ol' youngsters, can usually rely on them to give us a victory.
