I went to the plymouth game and what i noticed was this:

Every time we got the ball we blasted a long ball upfront and hoping. No quality.

Everytime a plymouth layer got the ball they played with speed and quick passes to feet.

We need to get the ball on the ground and play it to feet.

Holloway has signed wingers but we don't use them. its just defenders hitting a long ball and hoping something will happen.

we need to play good football for 90 MINUTES not the last 5.

We need to NOT play hume on the wing.

We need to play with more speed, passion, desire, width.

All the stuff that Ollie has been preaching about is not being put into practice at all.

None of it is making sense.

Now that transfer window's closed we can't play passin football for any length of time. We don't have the players for it and some we did have have been sidelined, injured or exiled.

We need to vary the tactics within each half.

For example:

First 12 minutes: Use both wingers like crazy !!

Next 12 minutes: Route one

Next 12 minutes: Slow build up from back, through central midfield

Last 9 minutes: Throw everything at 'em !!!

etc etc

The key is to be unpredictable to the opposition but have a system which our own players understand. Play the game in phases. Use "American Football" tactics of calling different plays for different situations.
