Matt Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 I love it, Every game we lose you come walking out the ground, or you hear bits when your sitting in the ground and all people do is blame or moan at the referee, but when we win the referee is amazing. The fact is we're just shite and the referee is a quick, easy excuse. I am the only person who realized Hume and Howard inparticular we're falling all over the place, looking for the fouls, Perhaps they are "bullied", "targeted", but whenever the ball is passed or lumped up field they go to ground, if they we're getting a freekick the majority of the time I wouldn't be so bothered but there not and some of the time it goes the other way with the opposition getting the freekick so what's the point?! Made me laugh when it was late on in the match, we had a throw-in, It was thrown to Hume, and he wasn't even touched but he went down like he was shot, and held the back of his head, that occasion we did get a freekick from it and tbh we nearly go a goal (Think I might have been Fryatt's chance, not sure though). But when I saw Hume wasn't even touched it just confirmed by suspicions that Hume and Howard (Imparticular) and co just go to ground at any opportunity and hardly ever get anything, how abouts the stay on their feet, and try and do something with the ball instead of taking the easy way out.
lildave3 Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 The referee wasn't even that bad today imo. People moaning about Laczko getting booked are just ridiculous. No end of decisions people go crazy at the referee for, when they are blatant.

They wanted it more than we did, end of. If Ollie cant get them up for a game like this then I am starting to get worried. Has all the crap flying about this week really got to him that much?

philce Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 But the ref couldn't see the blatant penalty? The ref missed loads in my opinion, but we were dire and deserved what we got.
lildave3 Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 But the ref couldn't see the blatant penalty? Which was this Berty?
FleckneyFox Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 i reckon ref was pretty poor. ive seen better ive seen worse this season.
lildave3 Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 Handball second half. I can't remember it, I'll watch the game later and have a look.
Jan Boy Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 He was too easy on you shite he should have sent off Howard in the first half it was GBH on the goalkeeper
Bert Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 I can't remember it, I'll watch the game later and have a look. Ws quite late on. Maybes mate text him saying that it was the most blatant handball ever.
Matt Posted 9 February 2008 Author Posted 9 February 2008 Handball second half. The one where we had a corner, it came out the box, someone shot, and it bounced around in a crowded penalty box? I don't think many referee's would have gave that, and it was probably more a case of ball to hand anyway. I have heard many claiming it as a penalty, maybe when I see the replay i'll have a different view, but I think people are clutching at straws on this one.
lildave3 Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 He was too easy on you shite he should have sent off Howard in the first half it was GBH on the goalkeeper You mean after he'd already blew for offside? He was going for the ball you tit.

Was a pretty big shout from the kop, then when someone gets a text from a pal, saying it was blatant, and they are not a Leicester fan, then I'd believe that much more than me "clutching at straws"
Joe. Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 You mean after he'd already blew for offside? He was going for the ball you tit. To be fair, apparently it was an elbow. That's what I heard anyway.
Bert Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 To be fair, apparently it was an elbow. That's what I heard anyway. It was. But they won't mention Easter lashing out at McAuley will they?
Jan Boy Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 I't wasn't an elbow it was an assault you tit even if it was off side
lildave3 Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 I't wasn't an elbow it was an assault you tit even if it was off side Yes. You're right. Now you mention it, I do recall Howard punching him numerous times aswell as kicking him.

I've got it recorded on Sky Active, watched it several times. It was a blatant handball. No question about it. Arm to ball. Plymouthy were very lucky that there were too many bodies in the way for either the ref or the linesman to see it clearly. I think a draw would have been a fair result.
McFoxy Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 I't wasn't an elbow it was an assault you tit even if it was off side Who are you anyway knob jockey? Go and play on your own site. Shit happens in games. The elbow happened yes, so did the handball. The ref didn't send howard off or give a penalty to us. All's fair so fook off

Exactly, The referee probably couldn't see it, It's not just us that get these decision's turned down, they happen week in, week out. I don't think a draw would have been fair at all, Don't get me wrong i'd have took it, but we had our chances, we had some good chances but a good percentage of the match we were awful, we were poor, we could and perhaps should have lost 2, 3 -0. Don't forget, even if the referee had given this penalty we would have still had to score it, and today I don't think our players would have been capable of that.

It was blatant, if the officials done their jobs properly, maybe we'd have a point.
lildave3 Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 To be fair, apparently it was an elbow. That's what I heard anyway. Ok, just seen it. He caught him with his arm yes, but he was looking at the ball all the while.
