breadandcheese Posted 19 March 2005 Posted 19 March 2005 I don't rate him. Never feel fully confident with him in our team, but would like to congratulate him on last night's performance. Last night, he won us a point. That ball was going straight into the back of the net for 3-2. There was no-way we would have come back from that. Dabizas's handball and sending-off ensured the 2-2 (courtesy as well of Harewood's poor penalty). Anyway, thanks Nikos for the point last night
Cobbo Posted 19 March 2005 Posted 19 March 2005 I think Nickos has been marvelous recently. I never used to be a fan but I think he's come on no end. Not playing alongside Heath seems to help him a lot.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 19 March 2005 Posted 19 March 2005 are you stupid? =/ It takes more than a handball and a penalty save to win us that point.. what about conolly's penalty? he could have missed... or gillespies super effort which could well have gone into row Z.. or even stephen hughes clearance off the line when it looked certain to be 3-2 again, he could have just thought 'Donald Duck it.. I'll wait for Paddy to close in on it.."
Bedford Fox Posted 19 March 2005 Posted 19 March 2005 Dabizas is a good defender who has played at the top level and i rate him but he WILL make the odd mistake but everyone makes mistakes but on the whole he is a good player.
Durnerz Posted 19 March 2005 Posted 19 March 2005 He didnt really need to handball it as Mccarthy was covering behind him, but in those situations your instinct takes over and he did what most players would have done in the same situation. I feel since he's cut his needless fouling out of his game he's been superb and a very valuable player at the back, Mccarthy on last nights evidence looks a superb addition alongside him, Both were good last night but I felt maybury let the side down with his poor passing and surrendering to harewood time and again. Kenton looks superb, I thought he played really well last night and against blackburn when I last saw him, sign him up permenant!
Anish Posted 19 March 2005 Posted 19 March 2005 I have noticed a big improvement in Dabizas recently - he looks a lot more solid and doesn't seem to 'chest' opposing forwards anymore! Well done Nikos.
Shum Posted 19 March 2005 Posted 19 March 2005 Dabizas has been doing well of late, and to be fair when he slid in eysterday the ball rebounded off someones leg onto his arms. I have always rated him, and I think him and Paddy will do well together. We need a left back in the summer as a matter of urgency!
foxesfan69 Posted 19 March 2005 Posted 19 March 2005 I rate Dabizas and if CL decides to keep him for another year will make good partnership with Paddy
Guest Daniel Posted 20 March 2005 Posted 20 March 2005 I don't rate him at all to be honest, and I would sooner see Stearman in the starting line up, but as long as Heath aint in there I wont grumble.
