Decent level premiership players these days are only on that much, I bet Bruno was'nt even on that much at Birmingham, let alone here!

Well - I can think of no better use for my increased season ticket cost than to pay the salaries of these players. In fact, I would gladly pay an extra £50.00 p/a to see an MP-like expenses system put into place so that Bruno can have Sky installed in all the rooms of his luxury mansion. Yes.

Players who have motivation to do well and crack on. We need a team full of Baz Hayles. Although, didn't his wages triple when he came here?

We just made a £5m loss though and staff wages were £10.7m in a year. If you take out an estimate of £1-2m of that for non-footballing staff that equates to an average of over £4k per week based on a 40 man squad! There's no way all of the squad are on that much so there must be a few top earners pulling the average up and seeing as Clem and Bruno were prob on a decent wage at Brum as a relatively well off club, it makes perfect sense.

It was to 31 May 2007 and you're right but my point was this year's loss will be much worse so presumably the wages figure will at least be this high if not more, which supports my original point.

Would we pay them wages to have him? I would personally love him to sign for us, but they seem to think he is unpredictable and maybe if we signed him he will lose some of his enthusiam as he wont have as much to prove!
