davieG Posted 30 June 2008 Author Posted 30 June 2008 I bought mine after reading reviews online - and no one seemed to have a bad word for it back when I did. I'm clueless about what current models are any cop.If you use the search function on the 999 page it can throw up a result simply because the cartridge may be cross-referenced to a printer that is no longer listed as supported. My printer is no longer listed but they still sell the ink sets for it Thanks for your thoughts Printers must be the worst product ever to buy.
Alexikokopops Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Thanks for your thoughts Printers must be the worst product ever to buy. I've decided not to buy one and just exploit the free printing at work.

Daggers Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 That's the one my Dad's got.It was great until he didn't use it for ages and the ink dried up in the head. I've run all the self cleaning stuff and tried cleaning it with alcohol etc but no joy, it's buggered. I'd suggest making sure you print a page or two off every couple of weeks just to keep stuff moving. You didn't ask for my advice BUT I NEVER LET THAT STOP ME You had to tempt fate didn't you?! Godammit! One of the blacks is blocked and so no gray part of any picture is being printed. Aw muffins!
